Three hundred wickets in one day international cricket are considered to be a magical figure. As a result of this wicket, not only did he reach this great milestone, he also obtained another feather in his cap. It took Waqar Younis, who was one of the pace bowlers of the Pakistani Cricket team, fifteen more one day international matches to reach the figure of three hundred wickets, and it took Brett Lee fifteen less. Therefore he also became the fastest bowler to reach three hundred wickets.
