Performance of Brett Lee in the Tests against West Indies
In the test match which is being played between the cricket teams of Australia and the West Indies, Brett Lee, who is one of the pace bowlers of the Australian Cricket team, has played amazingly and has kept the West Indian team on the rack. He took two wickets before the match was stopped for lunch and on the next day he continued with his brilliant performance. He has made a major contribution in bringing the Australian team nearer to twinning the second Test match as well. If the Australian team wins this match, they will also win the series which is being played against the cricket team of the West Indies . The Test match is being played at St. John's .The target which the West Indies has received was of three hundred and seventy two runs. When the West Indies then started their second innings of the Test match, they made a score of ninety five runs and they lost three wickets. Ramnaresh Sarwan, who is the captain of the West Indies team, had made sixty four runs and was not out. Shivnarine Chanderpaul, who had made a hundred runs in the first innings, had made five runs and was not out. Brett Lee played in such a way that the Australian Cricket team got a grip on the match. He got the wicket of Devon Smith, who was the opener of the West Indies batting order, and then he also took the wicket of Runako Morton, who only managed to make fourteen runs. Brett Lee till then had taken a total of five wickets and had given away only fifty nine runs.
In the first Test match of the series, the Australian cricket team had won the match by ninety five runs. It was played at Sabina Park which is in Kingston which is Jamaica .
