Sanath Jaysuriya - Fitter than most

The recent gala of the Indian Premier League helped re establish the credentials of many cricket legends of the recent past. There were many national and international players that were purchased by the managements of the different teams that were created for the event. Many celebrities also endorsed the event including Shah Rukh Khan who was the head of one of the participating teams. Australian stars Brett lee, Shane Warne and Ricky Ponting were some of the many reputable super stars of the game of cricket who were purchased for heavy sums and paid extra cash depending on the number of wickets they took or the runs that they made throughout the event. This event was splendid for the Indian Cricket Council as the sponsorships for the event went into millions of rupees and the turn out of the crowd was phenomenal in every game.

Sanath Jaysuria, former Srilankan Captain who won Srilanka one of their world cup victories also took part in the event and was a huge success. The former star of Srilanka went home loud and proud of his achievements and was done justice for his efforts by the event managers and sponsors. He was one of the most active and alert players on the field despite of being one of the oldest that took part in the event. His technique outclassed many young lads with better stamina and it was proven that some names were there to stay on the arena of world cricket.

This quiet and humble star shone once again without much effort and played his natural game which in itself was far classier than many others. The star Srilankan batsman was also fantastic on the field and proved to be worth all the praise, respect and all the love that he has received by his fans world over as well as the critics of the game.
